Louie Solano, a.k.a “Hippieone” was born in 1981 in San Bernardino County. The passion for creating began early as a child through music and illustration and quickly blossomed through high school as inspiration grew from all the surrounding art styles mainly focusing in graffiti & surreal art. After high school Hippieone attended the Art Institute of Los Angeles- Santa Monica, where he acquired his foundation in design.
After completing A.I.L.A in 2001 he challenged himself with continuous freelance projects to continue his creative growth. Hippieone has worked collaboratively and individually on a variety of socially engaged projects for over a decade and continues to pour deep rooted messages into his unique grafitti forms and images.
In 2007 Hippieone began Sycotik Conceptions, which doubled as custom apparel as well as graphic & printing services. Through Sycotik Conceptions, Hippieone has worked to unify the art community through organizing & participating in various art exhibitions.
In his most current venture, The Gallery of Progressive Arts, Hippieone brings passionate art to the community and is dedicated to assisiting emerging talent while maintaining the connection from the artist to the viewers.
