Art knows no limits and Eric Pineda is a living example of this. His need to express himself creatively has taken him to explore many art forms and find new possibilities every day.
He is currently working with mixed media and digital art and pushing himself to discover new horizons.
This applies to his body of work. He goes from designing the cover art for the book, The Creatures of a Bathroom Ceiling from Derek Rose; to co-creating Mung Chung, a popular comic strip. Or maybe he can be doing an amazingly accurate portrait of a well known Hispanic radio and TV personality, Chiquibaby. As well as creating the art for the cover of "If I die Tomorrow" one of the singles from the band Far East Movement.
His artwork has been shown in popular art shows like Mashed Potatoes and Gravy Group Art Show, Retroholic Art Show, LTD Gallery in Seattle, Gopa Gallery and the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Art Show in SF.
A graduate from the Pasadena Art Center College of Design, Eric is always on a journey of discovering and expanding his craft. His talent, creativity and natural curiosity make him the best example of an artist with no limits.
